When is this summer really going to get started? I mean, really! I'm ready to have some fun! Oh and we will, won't we! Well, today is Wednesday and I have to cover someone's shift so I am working till 6 instead of 5, which isn't a big deal since I left for an hour to go to the dentist (which I am happy to report NO cavities, wahoo!). It isn't a big deal to cover someone's shift at all, but it just means that I will miss out on my cousin JD's Regional Baseball Final game in Hurricane. I could make it but I would be pushing it and have to drive to Hurricane by myself and I would more than likely never really make it. You know me! My mom, being nice as she is, is skipping the game too to take me out to eat at Logan's, one of my ultimate Fav's (for what Huntington offers anyway!).

From 5-6 I am hitting the books hard and really studying for tomorrow's Physics exam. That class needs to get over with. We had a lab midterm yesterday, a lecture exam tomorrow. Next Thursday we have the lab final and Friday we have the lecture final. Not pleasant at all. I was lucky to score a very good grade on the 1st test...so I guess it wont hurt if I slack off too much on this test. Well...maybe I should still try hard :)

I went by the apartment today to check it out, I haven't seen it since we signed the lease so long ago. They had just finished painting so it reeked of wet paint. My room isn't as big as I remembered, but I have plenty of closet space which is a definite must! They are putting in new carpet, I really hope they have better taste than last time b/c the old carpet was pretty repulsive looking. The carpet people were supposed to come today so I might stop by and peek in the window to see if I can see it so we have a good idea of what to expect. They are also putting in new tile in the kitchen and *hopefully* bathroom. I forgot to ask about that, but I am assuming yes. If they are going through the trouble of doing the rest of the floors, you think they would just go ahead and hit up the bathroom anyway! *crossing my fingers* But anyway, we will be moving in next Tuesday and I'm very excited but also dread all the hard work it will take to move and money spent when we find out all the other stuff we need that we forgot about! i.e. trash bags, trash cans, u know!

Well I guess I haven't written in here for so long..because I don't really have anything to say. Now that school is out and everyone is home for the summer, things aren't as fun and crazy anymore. Huntington is dead. Last summer, it was great being home because I had been away for so long and I enjoyed coming back here to see some old highschool friends and be with my family. Now that I am at Marshall, and the vast majority of my friends are NOT from Huntington, all my friends are home for the summer...Huntington is so dead! I haven't done a darn thing since school let out. I am taking this Physics 101 class and lab so I am very busy with that, I have it every day from 8-12:15 till June 6. Then I am working my same ole job at the library 1-5:00 everday (about 20 hours a week). I am really lucky to have this job since it is on campus and they are so good about working around my class schedule and any other events that come up. I also get to do a lot of homework and studying while I am here at work, which most people probably aren't lucky enough to be able to do. So...I get all my evenings off (which I have been studying and relaxing with my family while I am home for a few weeks) and all my weekends!! How great is that. I am also helping my mom get her NWP Technology Institute that is going to be hosted here at MU up and going too for a little extra money. I haven't had any time to go out and see friends (except Luke...a little bit!), so hopefully I will find some time this weekend. I really miss all my girls.

Made me a little sad. This is from Reading Day 2002~ Reading Day is the Wednesday during Finals week when there are no finals. Therefore, Tuesday is a huge party night at the SAE house! Let's just say that we had a blast that night! Courtney and I dressed up in our "hot pants" and our Lambda Chi Alpha buttons, got a little drunk, and headed out to the SAE house for some partying->except I got really sad saying goodbye to everyone, knowing that I wouldn't be back in the fall. Ahh good times! Miss all you guys.
