Well...its Monday night...I only have Tuesday night (yeah..only, New Years Eve...damn it), Wednesday night, and Thursday night left to be on duty. I think I can make it...Its good that Amber is back and I have company...we always have fun..even if its just sittin here playing Nintendo or making a run to the wonderful world of TARGET, yeah...you're going down Wal-Mart :) Well last night was kind of crazy, I'd love to write about the whole story but its really confusing so I would rather not. Let's just say, mom drove down here at 4:30 and we slept in the lounge on couches b/c some weird stuff was going on in the building. Don't I have the best mom? I didn't even ask! She just came, didn't make me feel bad at all, thats just how she is. Didn't get much sleep. Sarah and Aaron came to visit me, so I got to meet Aaron for the first time. He seems like a nice guy, Sarah and her other group of friends hangs out at his place all the time. He apparently has the hots for Sarah, surprise. I think I am going to bed early tonight, surprise surprise...didn't get much sleep last night and Amber is waking me up at 9:45 to go pick up our paychecks and probably go to the tanning bed. Now thats early! Tomorrow is freakin New Years Eve and I am going to be sitting here in my dorm! How did I get stuck with this? I shouldn't be complaining b/c I'm making some mad cash that I need, but still. Amber was going to come hang out in the dorm with me and we were going to watch the MTV Pajama Party or whatever, but she is going back home for a little unofficial highschool reunion. I don't blame her at all though....I'll just be bored. Omar has invited me to go to the Triplett's with him..I dont think I will be able to though because I will have to be back here for duty, but I might be able to squeeze in an hour..and its almost not worth the trouble of getting off for it and stuff. Ahh well, we'll see but I am calling it a night for now.

Well, its the 27th...two days after Christmas. Shew, it was a good one. We got up early on Christmas morning to open our presents, shower and head off to my grandpa's house for our traditional breakfast buffet/gift exchange. Some of my best childhood memories are from Christmas morning breakfast. I love it. Let's see...Shaun got me some Marshall wear (tanktop and shorts), and of course money from my grandpa. I got Shane a Cabell Midland sweatshirt since he will be a 9th grader next year, eek scary! After our family thing at Papa's, I came home for a little nap that was cut short because my cousins were here. My Aunt Marcia, Uncle David, and my three cousins- Carly (14), Chelyan (11), and Caitlyn (8) were here from Atlanta! yay! We've been having a good time but man I'm exhausted. Too much to do in too little time. Today I think we are hanging out around here for awhile, then going to see Rayen (my oldest McComas cousin's baby...the first baby from one of my cousins, yay!). She's the cutest little thing and she really made Christmas exciting! She was so excited...and hyper. It was so adorable. Well anywyas, we are going to visit Rayen after her nap time, then who knows. I think later we are going to go swimming in my Aunt's hotel...my cousins have been staying with us but my aunt and uncle are staying in the holiday inn downtown. We'll prolly order pizza and hang out. Tomorrow its back to the dorm for me! EEK!

Wow...I didn't realize how boring working as an RA over break would be. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining because the cash flow is quite nice, but I am commenting. Today, Chris and I went shopping for mom and dad, and then went to lunch. We also ran up to this store called GameStop ( I think that is what it is ). Well, I've been wanting the original Nintendo, you know the NES. Well, they had it! yay! So I bought it for $50, to me it was worth it. Yes, that is how bored I am. And I'm a girly girl in many aspects, and the whole Play Station 2, new era of video games, is way above me. So I got it, but its such a pain. I hate blowing the games to get the dust off, etc. Its really messing up. I think I am going to take it back (thanks to the 30 day return policy) and get the super nintendo. I can still play the original Mario's on the All-star game and plus I can play MarioKart! YAY! Okay, you can tell how bored I am..I have been writing this whole thing about Nintendo. Well, Sarah came over today to keep me company, she can feel my pain. Like always, we had some good talks and she always seems to shed a new light on everything, and always brightens things up, way up! I think her and Jeff are going to get back together, and although some others might be a little hurt by this, I think this is for the best. They were so perfect together, and are perfect. Jeff just had some things to take care of, some time management issues, but I think he is a little more ready and willing to work things through now. I think its a big weight off her shoulder and therefore I am happy for her. She's been miserable for so long, and nothing is worse than seeing your friend miserable. Well today was productive, I got about 7 loads of laundry done. I know that is insane, but I got behind on laundry when I was traveling to all the football games. I would just do enough to get me through each week, but I still had piles in my closet. I found some really cool clothes that I had forgotten about. Its about as exciting as finding money in the pocket when you bring out the ole winter coat again.
